Hello, everyone! A bit of exciting news: I got to do an illustration! I did this piece depicting two trout “play[ing] their scales like Mozart” to accompany Mary Caroline Whims’ lovely poem Moon Mad, which was published by Story Warren today!
This illustration was definitely a challenge, as I don’t usually draw scenery (and I can’t remember the last time I drew a fish!). But overall I’m super pleased with how it turned out and so grateful to Story Warren for the opportunity to bring Mary Caroline’s incredible poetry to life!
